Dicky Bayu "Dika" Sadewa, known professionally as Sadewoo, SpikySaurus or simply Sade, is an Indonesian artist and animator. He is known for his many independent and professional animation works on various series and games, such as for Animaniacs (2020 reboot), Helluva Boss, Hi-Fi Rush, Craig of the Creek and Smiling Friends. He is a cutscene animator for Friday Night Funkin'.

Involvement

Sadewoo's involvement in Friday Night Funkin' was revealed when PhantomArcade posted a teaser trailer for the WeekEnd 1 update on the 16th of March, 2022; specifically, he animated the scene where Nene chases Pico from the level's intro cutscene.[2][3] After the update released, Sadewoo showed the rough draft of the scene he animated and went into detail on how it was created.[4][5]

Trivia

  • He uses the name "Sadewoo" for his professional works, while "SpikySaurus" is for his personal projects.[6]
  • Sadewoo animates using Blender. He created an addon of the program called SakugaGP, which is currently avaiable on his Gumroad.[7] He created several tutorials for the addon.[8]
