Special Collab 1: LE SSERAFIM
Special Collab 1, titled LE SSERAFIM, is the first special collab and tenth level overall in Friday Night Funkin'. It was released on January 3, 2026.

Boyfriend and Girlfriend face off against LE SSERAFIM, a popular K-Pop girl group.
Location
Special Collab 1 takes place in the Diner.[1] The location is set in an old-school diner-style restaurant. It has pinkish-white walls and a checkboard floor with pinkish-white and coral red checks. Several red bar stools can be seen across the room, with some on the floor. On the center of the room is a gray truck with cat-like-ear-shapes on the back of the cab, a yellow spring that connects the cab with the body, and an open window on the body. The doors of the back of the truck are open with spaghetti and meatballs falling out of it. There are tire markings on the floor. The cab of the truck also has its left door open. Behind the truck is a light pink table with a pink surface where two servings of a burger, fries, and a drink with pink and pinkish-white stripes can be seen on each opposite side. On the wall, there are several menus that serve "BURGER" for $1,000.00, "FRY SLOP" for $56.02, and free "SPAGHETTI SLOP." The word "SLOP!" is repeated four times on each menu.
Unique Effects
The stage begins in a thick cloud of dust, a result of the rubble and debris caused by the truck. After the song starts, the dust will clear, giving proper view to the stage before the lights dim. The truck flashes colors as the song progresses.

Trivia
- Special Collab 1 came to be due to a collaboration between HYBE and The Funkin' Crew Inc. Around November 2025, The Funkin' Crew was working on a UI-overhaul for the yet-unreleased Week 8 update. However, HYBE reached out to the team asking them to feature SPAGHETTI as a playable song in Friday Night Funkin' and, by extention, LE SSERAFIM as opponents. PhantomArcade, not wanting to pass this opportunity, accepted. He stopped development on Week 8 to prioritize work on the collab for 2 months.[2] The update featuring the level was supposed to come out on December 31 but was delayed by Apple iOS Reviews 3 days later, on January 3, 2026.[3] Some fans have reacted negatively to the update due to it coming out before Week 8, while others praised it and appreciated that it introduced Friday Night Funkin' to a lot of K-pop fans.
- The Funkin' Crew was not allowed to announce the collaboration before the update released.[4]

- The second level to feature multiple characters singing at once, the first being Week 5.
- The second level to only have one song, the first being Tutorial.
- The first (and currently only) level to have its cutscenes show up on Freeplay.
- The fourth level that's named after its opponents, the first being Week 1, the second being Week 3, and the third being Week 7.
- Special Collab 1's cutscene and accompanying song have no subtitles, despite it being added in the same update as subtitles.
- Although, it will likely be added in a future update.
