Trivia
The song's title comes from the word "blam", meaning "to destroy someone else's hard work." The term is commonly used by Newgrounds users to describe a movie or game being removed from the site as a result of receiving an abnormally low community-rated score[1] between 0 and 1.[2]
"Blam" is also the sound of a gunshot, reflecting Pico's weapon of choice for his mission. Additionally, the title is similar to "blamed", which is commonly mistaken to be the actual title.
The track lists of the cassette tape and Kickstarter vinyl of Friday Night Funkin' - The Official Soundtrack Vol. 1 have the title of the song spelled as "Blammed!" with an exclamation mark.[3][4][5]
Blammed's introduction sounds similar to "Halloween Theme" from the Halloween soundtrack. However, this may be a coincidence.
The Blammed segment of the FNF Erect Mode Sampler video misspells Kawai Sprite's name as "Kawaii Sprite".
