Trivia

  • The acronym "M.I.L.F" stands for "Mother I'd Like to Fuck," a term used to describe attractive older women, typically those with children. According to Kawai Sprite, there is no other meaning for the song's title.[2]
  • In a comment made on a SiIvaGunner rip for the song, Kawai Sprite implied that M.I.L.F was inspired by the infamous 2012 song "MTC" ("Masturbate To Cartoons") by S3RL.[3][4]
    • In a Tweet made in December of 2020, Kawai Sprite implied that the backing track and chorus of M.I.L.F were inspired by the popular 1987 song "Never Gonna Give You Up" by Rick Astley.[5][6]
  • On the 1st of March, 2021, M.I.L.F managed to enter the United States Spotify Viral Chart at #37.[7]
    • It also reached #44 on the Billboard charts' weekly debut Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart on the 6th of April, 2021.[8]
      • Additionally, it is Kawai Sprite's second most-viewed video on his YouTube channel, only being surpassed in view count by Ugh.
  • M.I.L.F was originally spelled as "MILF" in the Freeplay and Story Mode menus, likely due to Friday Night Funkin's lettering system not supporting periods. In the WeekEnd 1 update, the in-game spelling was changed to "M.I.L.F."; version 0.5.0 corrected this by removing the final period.[9]
  • Originally, between 1:22 and 1:28 in the song, the notes were attributed to the incorrect characters. Boyfriend's notes lined up with Mommy Mearest's vocals and vice versa, making it appear as though they were singing each other's part instead of their own. This spanned all 3 difficulty levels. This oversight was fixed in the Week 7 update.
    • A similar situation also occurred during the previous track, High, which also got fixed in the same update.
  • M.I.L.F ERECT was included in the SiIvaGunner MAGFest rave "ULTIMATE QUALITY ACHIEVED" under the name "M.I.L.F (ID Remix)" over a month before the remix was officially revealed in the FNF Erect Mode Sampler video.[10]
    • In the SiIvaGunner video, only Kawai Sprite is credited as the track's artist, likely to avoid spoiling six impala's involvement, although it is unclear if Kawai Sprite actually co-composed the remix alongside the band.
  • M.I.L.F ERECT is the only song teased in the FNF Erect Mode Sampler video that did not release alongside the other teased ERECT songs.
  • M.I.L.F is one of the few songs to have its note count modified in one of its charts in the WeekEnd 1 update, in this case its Easy chart. The other songs to receive this treatment are Spookeez, Senpai and Guns.
  • The camera zooming in more intensely on every beat during the bass drop in this song was once a unique, hardcoded effect. As of the WeekEnd 1 update, this is now accomplished with an event, and M.I.L.F is no longer the only song to have such an effect, though it is the only non-remix track to have it.
