  • The song's name comes from the fact that Week 3's location is set near Philadelphia, with "Philly" being a colloquial name for the city.
• Prior to the WeekEnd 1 update, Philly Nice used a shortened version of its title, being the only track in Friday Night Funkin' to do so, as it was referred to as "Philly" in the game's menu.
  • The reason behind its shortened name is because ninjamuffin99 was too lazy to code spaces in the game's lettering system.
• ninjamuffin99 jokingly stated that Philly Nice was originally supposed to be named "Long Time (Intro)", referencing the track of the same name from Playboi Carti's debut studio album Die Lit.
• One of the opening lines in the game's introduction sequence, "pico funny--pico funny", references a misheard lyric from Boyfriend's first verse in Philly Nice.
